FAQs
Electrical safety questions.
An Electrical Installation Condition Report is a detailed inspection and test of the fixed wiring, sockets, switches, consumer unit and other fixed electrical parts of a property. It records any defects and whether the installation is satisfactory.
At least every five years for private rented homes in England, or sooner if the previous report recommends it. Landlords must give tenants a copy of the report.
We explain every issue in plain English and quote upfront for any remedial work. Once the work is done, we re-test and issue your certificate.
